Your First Visit Facial gives us the opportunity to understand your skin, lifestyle and goals before creating a personalised treatment plan designed specifically for you. This allows every future appointment to build upon the last, supporting healthier, stronger and more resilient skin over time.
What should I avoid before and after my facial?
To help us achieve the best possible results, we recommend avoiding the following before your appointment:
Anti-wrinkle injections or dermal filler for 2 weeks before and after your appointment.
Retinoids (such as retinol or prescription vitamin A products) for 3–5 days, unless otherwise advised.
Exfoliating acids (AHAs, BHAs and PHAs) for 2–3 days.
Waxing, threading or hair removal on the treatment area for 24–48 hours.
Excessive sun exposure or sunburn.
Introducing new skincare products in the days leading up to your appointment.
Please let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or have recently undergone aesthetic or medical treatments, as this may affect your treatment plan.

Will I receive homecare advice?
Yes, where appropriate. Homecare plays an important role in supporting the results achieved during your treatments and in maintaining long-term skin health between appointments. Any recommendations are tailored to your skin's individual needs and are never made simply to encourage product sales.

Your First Visit Facial allows us to assess your skin health, discuss your concerns and determine your suitability for treatment. Where necessary, we'll also prepare your skin beforehand to ensure the safest and most effective results.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime varies depending on the treatment performed. Some treatments may result in temporary redness, dryness or mild peeling, while others require very little recovery time. You'll receive personalised aftercare advice to support your skin's healing and help optimise your results.
Will I need more then one treatment?
Advanced treatments work by encouraging gradual improvements within the skin, meaning the best results are achieved over time rather than after a single appointment. While you may notice visible improvements following your first treatment, a course of treatments is usually recommended to effectively address concerns such as acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines and uneven skin texture.
